About the Role

As a Data Analyst at Jobbluff, you'll be at the forefront of understanding how job seekers behave and what makes certain jobs more successful than others. You'll analyze massive datasets from our platform to uncover patterns, build predictive models, and generate insights that directly inform our product strategy and user experience.

This role combines deep analytical skills with product sensibility— you'll not only crunch numbers and build dashboards, but also communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders and translate data insights into actionable recommendations that improve user outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze user behavior patterns and job application outcomes to improve our scoring algorithms
  • Build and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reporting systems for key business metrics
  • Conduct A/B tests and statistical analysis to validate product changes and user experience improvements
  • Extract and analyze data from job boards and recruitment platforms to identify market trends
  • Develop predictive models to forecast user success rates and optimize job matching algorithms
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to design experiments and interpret results
  • Create data visualizations and reports that communicate complex findings to executive leadership
  • Monitor data quality and develop processes for data validation and cleaning

What We're Looking For

  • 3-5 years of data analysis experience, preferably in consumer-facing products or marketplaces
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases
  • Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI) and business intelligence platforms
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and A/B testing methodologies
  • Experience with Python, R, or similar languages for data manipulation and analysis
  • Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Understanding of product metrics, user behavior analysis, and conversion optimization
  • Passion for using data to solve real problems and improve user experiences

Nice to Have

  • Experience with machine learning concepts and predictive modeling
  • Knowledge of web analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude)
  • Experience with ETL processes and data pipeline development
  • Background in economics, market research, or career services analytics

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary ($80K-$120K) with significant equity in a fast-growing startup
  • Fully remote work with flexible hours and unlimited PTO
  • $2,000 annual learning budget for courses, conferences, and professional development
  • Top-of-the-line equipment and home office setup budget
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance for you and your family
  • Direct impact on product decisions with your data insights shaping user experiences
