Community Manager

About the Role
As our Community Manager, you'll be the voice and face of Jobbluff to our growing community of job seekers, career professionals, and partners. You'll build and nurture relationships that turn users into advocates and help create the supportive network that makes job searching less lonely and more successful.
This role combines strategic community building with hands-on engagement, from moderating discussions and organizing events to gathering user feedback and advocating for community needs. You'll work directly with our product and marketing teams to ensure the community informs our development roadmap.
What You'll Do
- •Develop and execute community strategy that grows engagement and supports user success
- •Moderate community discussions, provide support, and foster positive interactions across platforms
- •Organize community events, AMAs, workshops, and networking opportunities for job seekers
- •Gather and analyze user feedback to inform product decisions and feature prioritization
- •Create and curate community content including success stories, tips, and educational resources
- •Collaborate with marketing and product teams to amplify community success and user stories
- •Monitor community health metrics and develop initiatives to increase retention and engagement
- •Build partnerships with other career communities and professional networks
What We're Looking For
- •3-5 years of community management experience, preferably in SaaS, career services, or professional networking
- •Strong communication skills with experience in written and verbal community engagement
- •Experience with community platforms (Discord, Slack, Reddit, Facebook Groups, etc.) and social media management
- •Analytical mindset with ability to track engagement metrics and derive insights
- •Understanding of career development and job search challenges
- •Creative problem-solving skills for community challenges and engagement opportunities
- •Experience organizing virtual events and managing community programs
- •Passion for helping job seekers and building supportive professional communities
Nice to Have
- •Experience with content creation and social media marketing in the career space
- •Knowledge of job search platforms and recruitment industry trends
- •Experience with user feedback collection and analysis tools
- •Background in psychology, coaching, or career counseling
